Loomi is a personal assistant that tracks what you have promised people and what is due, using accounts you connect yourself. It is operated by Saif Alhameli as a sole proprietor and is currently an invitation-only pilot. Contact: saif.salem.alhameli@gmail.com.
You need your own Google account, and optionally Canvas, to use it. You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for anything you send after Loomi drafts it.
If you add and verify a mobile number, Loomi may text you about your own commitments, deadlines and meetings: a short brief on weekdays and occasional reminders when something is about to slip. You can also text it questions.
Message frequency varies with what is happening in your week; expect roughly one to five messages a day. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of using Loomi, and you can remove your number at any time from your account page.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Loomi creates email drafts in your own mailbox. It cannot send email. You press send.
Loomi asks for your explicit approval before inviting anyone to a calendar event or cancelling one. It will not contact other people on its own initiative.
Loomi can be wrong. It reads mail and coursework and draws conclusions, and those conclusions are suggestions rather than facts. Do not rely on it as your only record of a deadline or an obligation.
Use Loomi for your own accounts and your own obligations. Do not use it to contact people who have not agreed to hear from you, to send bulk or unsolicited messages, or for anything unlawful.
We may suspend an account that does any of those things, or that puts the service or other users at risk.
Loomi is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is an early pilot and may be unavailable, may lose data, or may be discontinued.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a missed deadline, a missed message, or anything you did or did not do because of something Loomi said.
You can delete your account and its data at any time from your account page. We may end the pilot, or your access to it, at any time.
